Practice leotards don’t usually have a built in bra so if you are bigger than a B cup you will probably wear one under a practice leo. When most girls start gymnastics we don’t need a bra at all. As time goes on we start to grow. Most leotards are still comfy without a bra until you are outgrowing your B cup bra. C cup and up are best with a bra.
Competition leotards are different. Many have a built in bra so you won’t wear one at all – instead just using whats already built in. Those bras are meant to flatten you and they may not be the most comfy. But, they will give you that leotard look we are all expected to have at competitions. The best part is that because the bra is built in, you won’t risk deductions for bra straps showing.
